Southwest Philly Gunpoint Carjacking Suspect Wanted By Police (Updated)

Investigators are searching for the gunman who stole a vehicle in Southwest Philadelphia early Monday, April 8, city police say.

The suspect had a black handgun when he carjacked a victim on the 7200 block of Woodland Avenue around 2:25 a.m., authorities said in a release. 

The car is a gray 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Pennsylvania tag number MKZ-7506, police said. 

The suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall black man in his early 20s, nicknamed "Skinny," according to detectives. He was wearing black hoodie with the words "miscreant mentality" written on the hood.
